Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a non-invasive procedure, utilising multiple microinjections to deliver active ingredients directly into the skin. Initially developed for the purpose of skin rejuvenation, mesotherapy is incredibly versatile, with various different uses in cosmetic medicine.This course is an ideal place to start for beginners, as it introduces practitioners to the concept of mesotherapy, basic techniques of how mesotherapy is performed, including an introduction to the different mesotherapy equipment available on the market today and cosmetic indications for this treatment. This course is suited as a foundation for those intending to expand their treatments to lipodissolve, hair regrowth, and platelet-rich-plasma.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this module, you should be able to:

• Understand the term “mesotherapy” and different forms of mesotherapy used in cosmetic practise
• Appreciate the different techniques used for mesotherapy
• Be familiar with popular mesotherapy equipment
• Be familiar with the various uses of mesotherapy*Lipodissolve, treatment of cellulite and hair loss are mentioned briefly, but will not be covered in detail as this is beyond the scope of this module.
